I should have done my research before purchasing from this horrible company. Can't get through via live chat, phone, nor by filling out their "ticket." I called the credit card company and basically while I dispute the charge. The bottom line is that I will have to pay it in the long run. That's why the company doesn't accept AMEX although they advertise it . All I want to do is return the horrific merchandise. But, there is no getting through to these people. The phone has an answering machine on it, the "fill out a ticket" doesn't seem to work as I haven't received a response, and live chat is a joke.

just wanted to post a notification to anyone who has dealt with mart of china they are changing their domain name so buyer beware they have poor business practice. i wish i had discovered this website before doing business with them they are bullies and evasive. their shipping is overly expensive, i could have used their basic shipping instead of upgrading. they don't answer to response in a resolution fashion or as if they have any clue at all. i had to get paypal involved just to get my items sent to the states. their response to a formal complaint was "so sorry" how does that make a pissed of consumer feel like they even care. they dropped the ball immediately after my payment was cleared. their new domain name will be MODLILY.COM for anyone who are big web shoppers.

I am so glad that I found this website. I was online several days ago and saw the most beautiful blouses I have seen in a while so I decided to order several through Modlily.

I filled out the order form, put my credit card information in, and all of the other personal information, name, address, etc. Then, I kept getting a pop-up online that stated I had to use another form to pay but I didn't want to use another form because the credit card I was using was fine. To make a long story short, I sent them an email regarding this and the next day I received a message from them stating that my order had been cancelled by them and "no worry", whatever that was supposed to mean.

Anyway, I am glad I found this area to leave a comment. I would NEVER do business with Modlily.

Modlily.Com are a piece of ***. I recommend everyone NOT to order from here its been 1 month and I haven't recieved my order and I contacted them 1 and a half weeks ago n they told me to wait 10 days so I did .

I contacted them again thru email cause they don't even have a real phone to Contact them. So I contacted them yesterday and I just got an email today saying that I should wait 3 to 7 weeks more to get my order wth..smh..

Buyer beware, I just went to the website 'Modlily' to place an order it prompt me to log into my account. So now I am confused because this is my first time on this website. Well come to find out after logging in an old order from Mart of China popped up. So clearly this company switched names to fool customers. So beware of 'Modlily' as well. Do buy from this company, the clothes are ill fitted and cheaply made like a home Ec project done wrong.

Everything I bought on the website broke, within 2 days, the shipping took ages, and nothing I bought fit. It was all way too small. For example i bought a wool jacket which is like 2 sizes smaller than I ordered, and a owl necklace that they STILL sell, and it broke before i even took it out of the package. I got a few other things as well that did not turn out how i planned it to, don't order from this company, they are a rip off, and you cannot return anything. It isn't worth the trouble, and you will be very unsatisfied with the outcome.

Wow, I own this owl necklace. It was purchased from Primark, UK, approx.

3 years ago. It cost £4 brand new.

Are they just buying old damaged stock from cheap shops like Primark and selling it on?! Ridiculous!

The clothes are entirely different than their photo would portray, and in some cases totally unrecognizable!To say I was disappointed would be a complete understatement, I was actually angry that they had pulled a "bait and switch" and when i tried to return them, they told me it was pointless to try as the return shipping would cost more than i paid for the items.They were right, but the quality of these clothes would not have been even good enough to donate to a thrift store. It was then the principal of the matter, so I paid to return the items after 2 months of being given a total runaround, only to be told that they would not refund all my money. They are criminals and because they are out of the country...your options are limited.

MART OF CHINA IS THE WORST WEBSITE DEALT WITH ONLINE. Cheap products, nothing like the pictures or description I ordered 8 dresses together and I wish I didn't waste my money on their cheap products. All the 8 dresses in description say that they material s cotton and none of them was cotton. cheap material and VERY BAD tailored. I ordered a coat from the company, but couldn't make sense of their size chart so when I received it it was too small. I decided to sell it to someone who had a daughter that would fit in it, and order another one. Second time around, I ordered the coat (accidentally set up two orders by clicking off of the page and then coming back, but I canceled that one), paid, and then waited for 23 days (since it was around Chinese New Year) for it to arrive. When it never came in the mail, I checked the site and saw that the order had been marked as "Canceled: Unpaid/unshipped" I went back to my emails and pulled out the invoice showing that it had been paid for, went to my bank account and searched for the amount. I found that it had been withdrawn, but never refunded, so I contacted the site via a ticket. I waited a couple of days for a response and never received one. Then, I happened to find that the money that should have been refunded to my bank account was placed on my account like a sort of "store credit" so to speak. Annoyed, I attempted to order the coat a third time since my money was stuck on the site anyway. This time, it has been three days since I made the order, the order is still sitting on "Waiting Confirm/Paid/unshipped" and I have yet to receive the email or phone call that I need to "confirm" my order. I sent in another ticket; it has gone 48 hours without reply (they claim that they will reply within 24 hours). I just tried to call the place during their posted business hours, and my call went straight to a voice mail that only said, "The person you are trying to call is not available. Leave a message after the beep". Needless to say, I chewed the voicemail out. I have sense told them to either ship my merchandise or give me a refund. After a freaking month, I really don't care which it is. By the time I get my coat (if it get it, that is) it is going to be summer anyway.

I bought some dresses from them and found out they are not like the photos on their website; they are cheaply made, cheap materiel, the worst is that some dress you can't even try it on, because the size is not actual size, as for size medium, the dress I received that it may be fit to 5 year old girl. I called them, the woman on the phone told me that the cloth I bought should not like the photo on their web, because those photo's clothing made in Korea, they just copied it and made them in China, so it should be different than the photo, then she said; "besides, if you want buy the one like the photo, you have to pay a lot!" Well, my answer was, you know you are selling cheap and bad quality clothing, why you show expensive clothing on your website? I told her it is dishonest business you company doing!

I was so impressed with the Ads but was horrified when I received the items..the material quality is so poor.. The dresses looked nothing like what was advertised.The sizes are suitable for the Chinese culture nor for Western culture And worst of all to return the items cost more than the actual items...it is just a rip off..I threw the dresses in the garbage...exactly where they belong...This is a perfect example of the saying ..it looks to good to be true..Their ads should read cheap prices for cheap quality so buy at your own risk.

Hello everyone....likewise i was really disperate when i ordered a couple of dress from martofchina. My last order was made on January 4, 2015. There´s a lot of waiting for my package to arrived.....but finally it just arrived last March 25, 2015. It tooks me 2 monts and 20 days of waiting but when the package arrive to my home door , it´s like a surprise. I lived in Quintana Roo Mexico so it is quite far from asia. Just be patient guys...the reason why it takes long for the package to arrived is that martofchina uses CHINA POST OFFICE to deliver the order and it will arrive through your LOCAL post office. Quite lousy but since it is free delivery and the product is cheap....they can not afford to send them through FEDEX or DHL. In my behalf, i do understand MARTOFCHINA. (LOLITA ESTOSE GARCIA )

I ordered two male coats but when the order arrived, two female coats were sent. In fact, it was boldly written on the box. In addition, the coats are of inferior quality and were extremely small. My arms could not go into the sleeves, even when i am naked. I complained and got the following feedback, which i copied verbatim below: Me: I ordered for male 2 coats as you would find in the order number, bit received two female coats. This is unacceptable. I could not wear them. I saw this white dress advertised on Facebook and looked at the Mart of China website, then because of China being in the name decided to put the name into Google immediately I found all the BAD reviews - I would say to prospective customers of any site to check the reviews and then you will know NOT to order from them and waste your money. I am so glad I read all your reviews so I could decide NEVER to use Mart of China. Also what did I expect when it cost 8 US Dollars that is £5 British Pounds !!!! Primark Quality is probably better quality than Mart of China.

I returned the 2 dresses i purchased back after I saw that they do not look like on the picture at all and that the material was pure plastic. I paid for the dresses cca 39$, paid by myself return shipping cca 15$ (after I spoke with a customer service agent about everything; that I would rather pay for return shipping and receive 39$ refund then keep the goods and receive only 60% of those 39$ back), the company did not notify me at all about receiving my goods- I had to contact God knows how many times a customer service agent whose English was very poor, and then the company returned to me only 26$?!?! This is fraud!!! This company should not be allowed to operate in any country!!!! I urge everyone to file an official complaint like I will, to make them stop robbing people!

When the items arrived they looked nothing like what the website showed them to look like and the quality was very poor (the bottom of the dress wasn't even straight). When I contacted them they tried to bribe me saying I should make a new order and tried giving me a discount code. They said I should try selling the items or give them as gifts instead of returning them. It then cost me a further £15.15 to return the items which I don't believe I am liable for. I believe it is Mart of China's issue as these items are poor quality & unwearable. They have said I will not be refunded this which I think is a disgrace. I think this company is an absolute joke and should not be allowed to treat their customers this way. I'm very disappointed would recommend everyone not to use this company.

We are terribly sorry for what happened. What we have offered is just a suggestion because if you ask for a refund you need return the order back and according to our return policy, customer need pay the postage themselves .

It will takes along and it's not worth so we just want to offer another solution for you.

BUYER BEWARE. I purchased from this site, when the item arrived the seams in 4 places were not even sewn, I took to a dressmaker and was quoted more than I paid for the item to have it fixed because there was not enough material in and to fix it would have to have plain inserts of a different material. When I told the company and asked for a refund they offered to send me another one if I purchased something else. Then they offered me a part refund which was not even the postage cost, how do I know because I posted the thing back to them and now they say they have not received it. I will never purchase anything from this site again, and I highly recommend no one else does either. The only good reviews I've seen are possibly from their own people because they sound more like adds than reviews.
